What is Your Wellness Score? 

What is a Wellness Score?  A Wellness Score is a measurement of what you are doing each day for your health- we look at nutrition, support and maintenance.

Health is a relative state of how we are feeling at that moment. "I am healthy." "I am sick."

We break down this score into 3 separate areas and then add them up to give you a total wellness score. The higher your Wellness Score the healthier your lifestyle.

1) I cook my own meals from scratch (Not a box or a frozen dinner).
2) I eat at least 5 servings of fruit and vegetables every day.
3) I eat green vegetables every day.
4) I eat real butter, olive oil and coconut oil every day.
5) I eat healthy fats (omega 3’s) from avocados, flaxseed, chia seed, salmon, and or nuts every day.
6) I eat naturally fermented foods like yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, and/or homemade pickles every day.
7) I eat grass fed beef, pork, venison and/or organic chicken or turkey to get the every day amount of protein needed. (Recommended amount is ~0.37 grams/lb of body weight or 46 grams for the average woman and 56 grams for the average man)
8) I eat at least 50% of my food raw every day.
9) I eat plenty of fiber every day. (ex: women: 21-25 grams and men: 30-38 grams)
10) Based on my current weight I am considered.
11) I feel that I am full of energy and have mental clarity every day.
12) I drink ½ my body weight in ounces of water every day. (ex: weigh 100 lbs, drink 50 oz’s of water)
13) I exercise at a moderate to intense level at least 2 times per week for 20 minutes or more.
14) I walk 30 minutes a day.
15) I sleep 7-9 hours nightly.
16) I go to bed before 11pm nightly.
17) I wake up well rested each morning.
18) I manage every day stress well.
19) I consider myself a generally happy person.
20) I express my feelings and emotions in a way that is not harmful (physically or emotionally) to others.
21) I have a healthy immune system and rarely get sick.
22) I live each day free from allergies.
23) I have a bowel movement every day.
24) I do not have skin breakouts.
25) I go outside for a few minutes every day.
26) I use softener and/or dryer sheets in my home.
27) I use commercial air fresheners, scented candles or other artificial fragrances in my home.
28) I wear commercial make-up most days?
29) I use commercial (non-natural) cleaners in my home?
30) I use scented lotions, perfumes, cologne or other artificial fragrances every day?

We have divided the quiz in 3 Categories: Nourish, Support and Maintain. Whether all three categories need help or one category is pulling you down, you have the capacity to make simple and small changes that will bring lasting results.
